Dopefish Site Revision History

1. First off, the fact that I updated the site at all after all this time is noteworthy in and of itself.   Yes it's been 16 months since the last update.  ;)
2. Revised the links page.  There's not many left.  :(
3. Added a Flash animation of various things Dopefish.
4. Added a ton of things to the "New in 2004" section
5. Cleaned up the GameBoy Advance game information page, as well as adding a second shot of Dopefish from the game.
6. Aw hell, I added way too many things (over 50 additions/changes) - just re-read the entire main page.  :)

1. Added some info and a screenshot about an "appearance" in Return to Castle Wolfenstein.
2. Added a link to Tom Hall's new home page.
3. Revised the entry about Dopefish in Hyperspace Delivery Boy.

1. Updated the DHTML animating Dopefish on the main page after a few YEARS to work with Internet Explorer.  :)

1. Dopefish.com is now officially hosted by 3D Portal, and as such, we are part of their advertising network now.  Hence the addition of ads to the site.

1. The Dopefish UBB has been restored.

1. Moved dopefish.com to a new web server.   The UBB is down because of this - but it will return shortly!!

1. Removed the crappy Forum Software that comes built into Frontpage 98 with the Ultimate Bulletin Board Software (Freeware version).  You can get to that here.

1. Added pictures of the Dopefish Halloween Costume to the Main Page.
2. Reworked the credits at the top of the Main Page slightly.
3. Rearranged the order of several items on the Main Page so the items are more organized into categories & the order in which they happened.
4. Reworded the text on the Main Page to make it read like it was in the first person.  That's something that I've wanted to do for some time now.
5. Fixed a few broken links to other sites on the Main Page.
6. Updated the Links Page.
7. Temporarily removed the MIDI music from the main page due to a problem.  It'll return shortly.

1. Added the video of Bobby Prince singing the Lyrics to "Eat Your Veggies" to the Veggies Lyrics page.
2. Added a picture of one of the Xmas tree ornaments being attacked by Joe Siegler's cat to the "Dopefish Product Line" section of the main page.
3. Added the Dopefish Quake Clan theme (Versions 1 & 2) to the site in the "Dopefish Music" section of the main page.
4. Added a remark about the Dopefish reference in Jazz Jackrabbit II to the main page.
5. Added a few more links to the links page.
6. Updated the Dopefish Sidewalk graffitti story slightly.
7. Added a link to the Quake Trading card for Dopefish to the "QuakeFish" section of the main page.
8. Added info about the premonition of the game Quake by Dopefish back in 1990. :)

1. Added information and a picture about my car's new license plate - DFISH.
2. Added a picture of Eric Baker's "Texas Instruments Dopefish" to the site.

1. Altered the DHTML swimming Dopefish.  I made it so that they burp when you click on them as they're swimming.  Remember, this only works for Netscape v4.  MSIE v4 won't be able to deal with this.  I'm working on getting some code working so that the DHTML code doesn't generate errors on MSIE and Netscape 3.

1. Added a Javascript based Animation for Dopefish to the site.   Special thanks for this goes out to Scythe.  He wrote the code originally for his Dopefish page, and was gracious enough to give it to me for my site here.  Make sure to check out his Dopefish page!   This is meant for Netscape Navigator v4 only. It won't work in Netscape 3 at all, and in MicroSoft v3 & v4, it will generate a script error.  Make sure you have Netscape 4 to correctly view this.
2. Added a bit to the "Dopefish Music" paragraph.  This is about Dave Hilling's "Swing Your Veggies".  Also has a download, and a link to places you can get something to listen to it with.

1. Returned "Click-A-Fish" to the intro page by popular request (OK, only one person asked).
2. Added a new paragraph detailing several user submitted items that have been received by me over the last couple of months.
3. Rewrote the paragraph about the Dopefish Grafitti by Steven Paradise (I had a few facts wrong, plus there's an update now in March of 1998).
4. Added a bit to ROTT Fish debunking a commonly thought Dopefish cameo in that game.
5. Fixed the "Eat Your Veggies" MIDI that is supposed to be playing when you're reading the main page.  It's been broken for some time now, actually.

1. Added the long awaited Rise of the Triad Dopefish patch.  Also broke out the paragraph on Dopefish in Rise of the Triad to it's own paragraph called "Rott Fish?"
2. Added Discussion Groups to the site.
3. Added a pretty funny hack picture to the section about Dopefish in Quake II.   Check it out!

1. Converted the site over to a Frontpage 98 server.  I know that's no big deal to you, but it explained why the site was down for a day or so.
2. Added a new page.   It's about the Lyrics to Eat Your Veggies.  Has pictures of Bobby Prince.

1. Moved the SantaFish Graphic from the intro page to the info page.
2. Added a new rendering of Dopefish (taken from the PlanetQuake's Skinforge page) to the intro page.
3. Added a save game for Quake II showing the Dopefish to the section that talks about Dopefish in Quake II.
4. Changed the page text font selections from Comic Sans MS/Arial to Trebuchet MS/Comic Sans MS/Arial. Don't have these fonts? You can get 'em here.

1. Added info about The Death of the Dopefish? to the page. Actually, it's a bit about the appearance of Dopefish in Quake II.

1. Added a "front end" page to the site. The actual meat & potatoes of the site have moved to a different page.
2. Added a few bits to the main info page. Added the second Dopefish game (Dopefish 4Ever) by Chris Geroux, added a bit more about the "Sidewalk Fish", and a new section about the "German Dopefish".
3. Added a new page to the Well. It's the Thanks Page.
4. Updated some text on the Links Page.

1. Changed the Web Counter I use. Went from counter.digits.com to fxweb.com. It's much cooler.

1. There's a new Dopefish Ring out and about the Internet. Joined up. Or should I say I was placed on it by the ring's creator. :)

1. Added the Dopefish NOW! button to the front page. Feel free to use it on your site (but please copy the file to your server). I lost the E-Mail from the person who created it, so if you're that person, please contact me again!

1. Started this revision History Page.
2. Added 3D Alpha's Dopey Dopefish Tank to the links page.
